Upon seeing the deep-brown folders from afar, we immediately had an inkling as to the product that it represents: coffee — good coffee. The use of color and imagery to produce an unmistakably “coffee folder” is, to us, a masterclass in branding design.

Our initial guess was confirmed when we held one of the folders and read the company behind it: Boston's Best Coffee Roasters. We wanted to learn more about how such a company uses folders so we approached a member of their marketing team Katie Johnson.

Our Takeaway

It is, perhaps, one of the ultimate goals of any marketer or marketing designer to produce a collateral piece that captures the essence of its company or product. Boston's Best Coffee has clearly attained this.

The folders could easily be lost amongst a mound of coffee beans, and of course, stand out when picked up and leave no doubt as to their company’s identity. This makes it a potent tool in their sales team’s arsenal.

As a leading manufacturer of custom presentation folders, we are elated to witness such an achievement. Particularly because it validates our core belief that custom printed folders are a highly effective instrument in in-person presentations.
