FOLDERPRINTERS WRITERS: Please describe your company and its services.

GABRIELLA BARBOZA: We are full service dermatology and plastic surgery office with 5 different departments: medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, medical spa, plastic surgery, and clinical research. We pride ourselves at staying at the forfront of our industry's latest and greatest technologies, taking the greatest care of our patients and natural looking results. We've been keeping Houston beautiful since 1997!

FPW: Who are your main customers?

GB: Our patients consist of a wide demographic. Houston is home for us and it being so diverse we see lots of people from different walks of life. Our main patients are seeking healthy and beautiful skin whatever that looks like to them.

FPW: What purpose do your folders generally serve? Is it for marketing or selling? If so, What problems or challenges in marketing, selling do the folders solve for you?

GB: We use our folders during consultations. Lots of options are discussed during this one-on-one time with our providers, so our folders are used to house any treatment handouts, pre/post op instructions, pricing and more! The folders are a nice and polished way to send the patient home with all the information they need whether they are having a procedure done or not.

FPW: When do you hand them out?

GB: We hand out folders during consultations.

FPW: What items do you put inside the pockets?

GB: Inside the pockets you can find various combinations of our treatment handouts, treatment quotes, service line brochures, buisness cards, pre/post op instructions and even product regimen recommendations.

FPW: Have the folders proven to be effective? Do they work?

GB: Our folders are 100% a proven effective way to house all the information the patients receive while in our office.

FPW: We’ve mentioned that that elegant design is what caught our attention. Who designed your folders?

GB: I did.

FPW: Do you know if your competition also employ the same type of folders?

GB: We can't say with certainty if our competitors have the same exact folders as ours but it's not uncommon for cosmetically inclined practices to have some type of branded folders to send patients home with.

FPW: Are these your first professionally printed folders? What made you decide to go with Folderprinters?

GB: We've been ordering folders from you all since at least 2016 maybe even longer! We chose you all time and time again because of price and quality! We have not considered any other printer and we've stayed pretty loyal over the years!!

FPW: Did the final product meet your expectations?

GB: Yes! We love our white linen folders! So elegant and sleek! We loved the gold foil imprint of our logo on the white linen. So simple but they look great in the hands of our patients and providers!

Our Takeaway

While beauty is, as the adage goes, indeed skin deep, it is also true that our first impressions are greatly impacted by what we see initially. In the context of personal interactions, this is includes — ironically and no matter how we try to deny it or romanticize the opposite — an individual’s skin and countenance; the very definition of superficial, which in this sense, does not carry a negative connotation.

Only after delving deeper can we see true substance. The irony, yet again, is that first impression is a major factor in our decision to delve deeper.
